THANK YOU FOR YOUR DONATION - TOGETHER, WE WILL DO IT- LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !

Hi,

I'm Adrien and I'm about to start the ADVENTURE of my dreams with 1001FONTAINES !

29th of May : At the end of my Master's degree in "Entrepreneurship And Innovation in Sustainable Energy" at the University of Queensland in Australia, I will bicycle 2,500 km on the Australian west coast from Perth to Broome with a tent, a trailer and a bike. The aim of this challenge is to give access to drinkable water for 2,500 kids in CAMBODIA !

I'm not doing this alone ! We are going to do it TOGETHER to help those who need it the most !

Today, 1 person out of 4 is deprived of drinking water in the world, that is more than 2 billion people. Water that is unfit for consumption kills more than 2 million people every year, mainly children.

MY GOAL : to fund access to clean water for 2,500 SCHOOL CHILDREN IN CAMBODIA!

AMAZING! The initial goal has been achieved in 6 weeks!! And it's all thanks to you, a HUGE THANK YOU!

Therefore, I have increased my goal to 3,000 school children!

And... A gigantic surpise, because 6 hours later, WE WERE ALREADY AT 3,125 SCHOOL CHILDREN! A significant achievement reached and exceeded!

BUT IT'S NOT OVER YET! Now my goal : to fund access to clean water for 5,000 CAMBODIAN SCHOOL CHILDREN!

HOW WILL WE REACH IT ?

Raise 2€ for each km cycled !

Each 2€ donation will allow a school child to have access to clean water for a whole year in Cambodia!

  2,500 KM CYCLED  = 10,000€ = 5,000 KIDS !

  WHO IS 1001FONTAINES ?

For almost 20 years, 1001fontaines has been developing and deploying sustainable solutions for access to drinking water for vulnerable populations.
Today, 1001fontaines allows 1 million beneficiaries to have a sustainable access to drinking water in Cambodia, Madagascar, Vietnam and Myanmar.

  HOW DO THEY DO ?

IN 5 STEPS :

1- Locally available surface water is collected from ponds, rivers, etc.

2- The collected water is then decanted, filtered and purified using an ultraviolet sterilization technique (100% of the energy comes from solar panels installed on the roof of the infrastructure).

3- The purified water is then packaged in 20 L bottles and delivered to families and schools!

4- The bottles are then recovered to be cleaned and used again to limit the plastic footprint!

5- The quality of the water is controlled every month and conforms to the standards of the World Health Organization!

 WHO IS FINANCING MY PROJECT?

ME ! None of your donations will contribute to the logistic and material part of the project, I have been working in parallel with my Master's degree  to finance all the equipment! (bike, trailer, solar panel, batteries...and a drone to film all this)!

I will share with you all my adventure on my social networks with my phone and my drone (my experience during 2 months cycling, the landscapes, the encounters...) Come and join me , we will have a good laugh !

  WHY THIS PROJECT ?

I have always dreamed of doing a project that combines :

ADVENTURE (going to the unknown)
MEETINGS (meeting inspiring people on my way)
EXCEEDING YOURSELF (sporting challenge)
SUPPORTING A CAUSE THAT I CARE ABOUT (Doing this project for these children will boost my morale everyday when I'll look at the fundraising page)
SHARING (Share my experience with you and let you discover my daily life during 2 months with FUN)

Are you ready to reach the goal with me and help 5,000 children?

THEN LET'S GOOOOOOO

A donation of only 2€ would be amazing!

Don't hesitate to share this page with your friends, family or your colleague at the coffee break !
