On July 10th, I will run the the Villars Ultraks trail, a 30 km distance, 2300m up and 1800m down, to raise awareness and funds for 1001fontaines!
1001fontaines entrusts safe water micro-enterprises to local people trained by 1001fontaines to become entrepreneurs in countries as Cambodia, Madagascar, Vietnam and Nyanmar.
Moreover, their "Water in School" program ensures safe drinking water in schools for free, reducing school absenteeism and contributing to a better health of the school children.
I am amazed about how self-sustainable and scalable the 1001fontaines model is and the impact it has on the communities they support.
A donation to 1001fontaines, is one very well spent. As a reference point, 2 CHF will offer a student in Cambodia or Madagascar clean drinking water for an entire year!
Thank you 1001times for your support !
